Arriving to Espoo and Espoo Metro Areena
Espoo is located just a 30-minute drive to Helsinki Airport and 15-minute metro ride from Helsinki City Center. The TeamGym European Championships 2026 event takes place in Espoo Metro Areena that is located at Tapiola district.
The easiest way to reach the venue is by HSL public transportation either via metro (stop: Urheilupuisto) or bus network – Espoo Metro Areena is located in zone B. You can use public transportation with the HSL application (available for download here) or opt for the contactless payment method. HSL tickets can be used in the metro, local trains, tram, light rail, and bus networks across Helsinki, Espoo, and Vantaa (Helsinki Airport). You can purchase a single ticket, a 1-day ticket, or a multiple-day ticket for different zones (each ticket covers at least two zones). The City of Espoo is located in zones B and C. Helsinki City Centre is in zone A, and Helsinki Airport is in zone C.
When arriving by car, you will find plenty of parking spaces surrounding the Espoo Metro Areena, as well as underground garage parking connected to Urheilupuisto metro station.
